AMY BARDER

Amy has 16 years experience practising and teaching Pilates. She has over 1000 hours of training with qualifications from Body Control Pilates (Level 3 Matwork, REPS) and Pilates Nation, a classical Pilates Studio in London, qualifying her to teach Mat and Equipment Pilates to an advanced level. 

​

As well as teaching group classes and private sessions for general fitness, she works closely with a number of Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists, focusing on rehabbing injuries and chronic conditions with Pilates. Amy also has a particular interest in hypermobility and woman's health.

​

Amy is delighted to be undertaking her third round of training with prestigious global Pilates company, Basi from September 2023.

LIZZIE SHAKINOVSKY

Lizzie is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience working in London and Surrey.  She trained at the University of Southampton, qualifying in 2003. She completed her Masters degree in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Kings College London in 2009 and is also qualified in Acupuncture. 

 

She has always incorporated Pilates principles and exercises into her practice but has recently taken this further by embarking on her Pilates Instructor Course with APPI.

 

Lizzie keeps herself active with Pilates, tennis and walking the dog.  With 2 children constantly encouraging her to try new things like Go Ape and open water obstacle courses, the benefits of Pilates has never been more needed!!
